
About Ms Neelima Dixit
Ms Neelima Dixit is a highly respected Consultant Gynaecologist & Obstetrician specialising in Infertility, Reproductive Health, Surgery and General gynaecology. She is a warm and approachable person, passionate about helping women find answers to questions and get the right treatments. Many patients comment that she is easy to talk too with a relaxed manner, helping them discuss things they don’t like to talk about more easily.
Her area of expertise in general gynaecology include the management of heavy periods, fibroids, management of polycystic ovaries, care and treatment during menopause, pelvic pain and painful intercourse.
Working with women and couples to help them find the treatments they need to conceive and have a healthy pregnancy has become one of the focal points of her work. She works with people finding it difficult to conceive, those needing early pregnancy management and with women that have had recurrent miscarriages
She is experienced in all aspects of reproductive medicine /infertility, including infertility diagnosis and management, egg freezing, pregnancy for same sex couples, reproductive endocrinology and women with premature menopause.
Background
Ms Neelima Dixit gained considerable practical experience in North London hospital units and gained a dedicated fellowship in fertility and reproductive surgery from Kings College Hospital. Remaining in London Ms Dixit became a Consultant at Kings College before taking up her current appointment at Western Sussex NHS Trust.
NHS work and memberships
In her NHS role, MS Dixit is the lead Consultant in Early Pregnancy at St. Richards’s Hospital, Chichester.
She has extensive experience in Gynaecological Ultrasound, including 3D scan, saline infusion sonography, HyCoSy and Early Pregnancy scans; having accredited both by the RCOG and British Fertility Society for Gynaecological and Early Pregnancy scans. She has published in various international journals and written book chapters.
She is a member of Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG), British Fertility Society (BFS), International Society for Reproductive surgery, The association of Early pregnancy units and International society for Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

About Sue Turnbull
Fertility and Gynaecology specialist nurse
After training as a registered nurse, Sue qualified as a midwife and spent the next 15 years at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals in London.
In 1992 she relocated to Sussex, becoming a specialist fertility and gynaecology nurse here at Nuffield Health Chichester. She is responsible for the nursing care of patients having the consultations and treatment.
Sue Particularly enjoys giving help and advice to women who have fertility concerns or issues with the menopause.
